Commoner

Commoner is a series of photographs about a common woman who exudes the energy of royalty, a sort of hood princess, but not a "trap queen" in essence. She grew up as a regular citizen, but at any point in time must accept her role as a dignitary, something that becomes apparent in the world around her.

Each photo blends traditional or classical artwork and shifts it with a modern take. While the woman herself is often placed in darker environments, it's the classical pieces of art, the ones often placed in the spotlight in terms of traditional artistic beauty, that these works are seeking to become.
